We have managed to create more open but shaded space by extending the roof in-between our hall and some of the classrooms. This has created an outdoor space which is proving useful during Covid. Luckily the amazing weather in Kenya means outdoor classes are realistic provided there is shade. The new extension will help us further in maintaining small class sizes and support our social distancing efforts.
